Do I need a GP referral to have blood tests done?
No. You can book directly without any GP referral. However, if you do have a referral from your GP, Consultant or another clinic, we are happy to accept it and carry out the tests required.
How quickly will I receive my results?
Most routine blood tests are returned within 48 hours. Specialist Immunology / Chicago Bloods take slightly longer, with results typically available in 5–7 days.
Can I request a test that isn’t listed on your website?
Yes. If the test you need isn’t shown online, simply email us with the name of the test or send your referral form. We can usually arrange almost any blood test on request.
Are your blood tests covered by health insurance?
Many health insurers offer partial refunds for nurse - led diagnostic services. We provide receipts that you can submit to your insurer, though coverage depends on your individual plan.
Can you send my results directly to my GP or Consultant?
Yes. With your permission, we can forward your results to your GP, Consultant or clinic to support your ongoing care.
Do you provide interpretation of my blood test results?
The laboratory we partner with will include a full interpretation and scale of your results, which is emailed directly to you. As we do not offer additional interpretation or follow-up medical advice, we recommend consulting your GP, Consultant or clinic if you have any concerns or require further guidance.
