My training in Acupuncture began in 1995 after completing a Science degree at NUI Maynooth, Ireland. I graduated from the Acupuncture Foundation of Ireland in 1998 and spent several months training in hospitals and at the University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Nanjing, China, to complete my licence.
I run a busy clinic in Dundrum, Dublin, with a particular focus on Women’s Health and Paediatrics. My interest in Gynaecology began in 1989 when I completed a work placement at the Coombe Maternity Hospital, Dublin. This early experience shaped my long - standing commitment to women’s and children’s health throughout my Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine career.
With extensive experience in fertility, gynaecology and obstetric care, I specialise in complex conditions including unexplained infertility, recurrent miscarriage, Endometriosis, and inflammatory disorders. Additional training has been completed under Dr Trevor Wing at the Natural Gynae Clinic in London, along with specialist education in Reproductive Immunology and associated blood testing.
I also trained as a phlebotomist in 2023 and, when Glynis is unavailable, I am happy to carry out blood testing.

I am a Registered General Nurse with almost 27 years of experience. I began my training in the old Adelaide Hospital on Peter Street, Dublin 2, in September 1995. I qualified in September 1998, by which time the hospital had moved to its new location in what is now known as Tallaght University Hospital.
Over my 25 years working in Tallaght, I gained experience across a number of wards, spending the last 15 years in the Pre-Assessment Clinic, where I screened patients for their fitness for general anaesthetic. A major part of this role involved blood taking and phlebotomy, which I performed numerous times each day.
Alongside this, I also worked part time in several health screening clinics in Dublin — including The Well in the Beacon Clinic and CLP Healthcare — in the role of Occupational Nurse.
In August 2022, I left Tallaght University Hospital to begin a new chapter as an SNA in my local Educate Together National School. I love this new direction, but I continue my first love of nursing by working part time in a GP out-of-hours service in Tallaght, keeping my nursing skills active and up to date.
